The time is finally here. The time where we usually close out our hockey season, whether it be in tears or a “throw your gloves in the air” celebration. This is when we say our brief goodbye to the rink, until next season rolls around. While there may not have been an RSEQ season to wrap up this year, it doesn’t mean we should forget all the amazing moments, highlights, and achievements from previous years. The ghost of this season shouldn’t haunt us, rather it should make us eager to remind everyone what we’re capable of. We are remarkable female athletes and it’s about time we showcase it. Together, we will come back stronger. We will come back united. We will take a stand and show everyone what we, as female hockey players, have done and will continue to do. #TakeAStandForWomensHockey
L’heure est enfin venue. Le moment que nous disons au revoir à notre aréna en attendant la prochaine saison. Bien qu’il n’y ait pas eu de saison cette année, cela ne signifie pas que nous devrions oublier tous les moments incroyables, les « highlights » et les exploits des années précédentes. L’absence de cette saison ne devrait pas nous hanter, mais devrait nous rendre impatientes de rappeler à tout le monde de quoi nous sommes capables. Nous sommes des athlètes remarquables et il est temps de le représenter. Ensemble, nous reviendrons plus fortes. Nous reviendrons unies. Nous prendrons position et montrerons à tous ce que nous, en tant que joueuses de hockey, avons faits et continuerons de faire. #Normalisonslehockeyféminin
